This course is designed for those interested in business strategy formulation in real world. The function of the course is to provide a contemporary account of the “what” and the “how” of executive decision-making is processed. It helps students to develop the analytical skills required in strategy formulation.

教學目標

The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive outline of what strategy development is, and how it is carried out in a business enterprise. The course includes the discussion of the nature of business strategy, the phases and premises of business strategy and policy. Students will participate in case studies, which will permit them to experience some of the problems discussed in class. The course is a self-contained unit for those wishing a general understanding in top management decision-making.
